Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 2 cups white chana


  • 3 nos chopped onion


  • 1 tsp chopped ginger


  • 1 tsp garlic paste


  • 1 tsp salt..as taste


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp mustard oil


  • 2 tsp chana kala masala


  • 100 gms to make chana kala masala:whole dry dhaniya


  • 25 gms whole kali mirch


  • 25 gms whole jeera


  • 10 piece cardamom


  • 5 piece black moti elaichi


  • 10 piece cloves


  • 2 tbsp dry amla


  • 2 tbsp dry anar dana


  • 1 tsp hing powder


  • 2 tsp aam chur powder


  • 2 tbsp kasuri methi


  • 1 cups for peas pulao:rice


  • 1/2 cups peas


  • 1 tsp salt..as taste


  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp roasted jeera


  • 2 cups water

Directions

  • Chana ko overnight ke liye soak kare.
  • Morning main chana ka water throw kar chana ek baar saaf pani se wash kar cooker main dale salt dal kar chana boil kar le.
  • Wok main oil smoke kar garlic saute kar onion add kare bhune phir ginger dale bhune salt and red chilli powder dal kar bhune
  • Cooker ka lid nikal kar 2sp kala masala mix kar cooker ko 5 minute ke liye lid laga kar aise hi rakh de gas par nahi rakha hai after 5 minutes ke baad cooker ko khol kar
  • chana ko masala main dal kar 2 minutes tak mix kar vapis cooker main dal kar jitni aap ko gravy rakhni ho water add kar 2 whistle lagwa kar enjoy kare with peas pulao.
  • Note...Is chana main haldi,tomato and green coriander nahi dalta.
  • To make a chana kala masala:Kasuri methi ko chorh kar baki sab masala ko dry roast kar kala kar le
  • cool ho jaye to kasuri methi mix kar grind kar air tight container main rakh le yeh masala spoil nahi hota hai.
  • To make Peas pulao(without oil):Rice ko half hour ke liye soak kare.
  • After half hour wok main 2 cups water boil kare isme rice,salt,chilli and peas add kar cook kar le without oil.
  • To make a tomato flower;Tomato le kar uska head nikal kar sharp knife se tomato ki skin nikal le ek hi saath turning nahi chahiye lambi lambi skin nikal kar skin ko roll karte huye rose ki shape de le .lo ji ready ho gaya rose flower.
